Many console users know that the Play Station Portable (PSP) made by Sony. The PSP can either be plugged into and played on a PSP system, or played on a computer with keyboard controls or attached controller support. Before downloading here are the things needed as following:
- R4 Revolution DS software
- Internet connection
- Web browser
- Computer with one USB port
Follow the steps as following:
- Open the Web browser and find the PSP ROM files at Nitro ROMS, Rom-Freaks or PSP Blender. Follow the download instructions and save the files to your computer’s desktop
- Unpack your R4 Revolution DS software box. Find your USB cable port and small memory card inside the box. Plug the memory card’s smaller end into the back end of your port. The memory’s card text-side should be facing upwards when you insert it into the port.
- Plug your R4 Revolution DS USB port’s cable end into your computer’s USB port. Press the “OK” button with your mouse when prompted by your computer to install your R4 Revolution software. Find your R4 Revolution software on your computer by going to your computer’s search function and typing “R4 Revolution” into the text bar with your keyboard. Open the “R4 Revolution” icon your computer displays by double-clicking it with your mouse. Make a new folder inside your “R4 Revolution” window by clicking once inside it with your mouse. Scroll down to and highlight “New” and select “Folder.” Right-click your new folder, scroll down to “Rename” and select it. Type in a name for your PSP games, such as “My PSP Games,”, and press “Enter.” Double-click the folder to open it.
- Select each of your ROM folders on your computer’s desktop by clicking each one. Drag each folder inside your “My PSP Games” window and drop in each one by releasing your mouse button. Do this for each ROM folder to ensure you can play the PSP ROM files on your DS. Close your “My PSP Games” window by clicking the red “X” in its top-right corner.
- Remove your R4 Revolution DS USB port from your computer’s USB port. Take your small memory card out of your USB port. Take out your R4 cartridge. Plug the card into the cartridge, with its smaller end going in first. Make sure the text-side of the card displays and faces upwards when you put it in.
- Plug your R4 Revolution DS cartridge into your Nintendo DS. Ensure the “R4″ text-side of your cartridge goes in first and faces away from the front screen of the DS. Power on your DS by flipping up, its power switch on the right side. Find your “My PSP Games” folder displayed on your touch screen. Click the folder with your DS pointer to open it. Play your PSP games by selecting them with your pointer
And all steps are finished; you can enjoy your PSP games on your Nintendo DS now.

- Update your PS3YES-Pro with downgrade firmware .
- Plug the “downgrade” PS3YES-Pro to the right port (close the Blue-Ray Driver), Power down the console and cut of the power. Re-connect power to the console, Press power on button, press the “EJECT” button in 200ms after power on button was pressed. Until finished your downgrade, you don’t need cut off the power again.
- The screen to the console will flash several time and auto-turn-off, you can remove the PS3YES-Pro now (You console now ready to enter “Factory Mode” now.
- Prepare an USB disk and format it as FAT32 file system, copy two files to the USB disk: Lv2diag.self and PS3UPDAT.PUP, and place them under the root path. The named “Lv2diag.self” should copy from the “Lv2diag.self FILE 1″ folder.
- Plug the USB disk to the right USB port to the console, and remove any other USB disk from your console, press power on button to boot .
- Wait until the console turns off again. Remove the USB disk from your console, and delete all the files, copy the “Lv2diag.self” from “Lv2diag.self FILE 2″ folder to the USB disk’s root path.
- Plug the USB disk to the right USB port to the console, and press power on button, it will leave “Factory Mode” now.
- Last Step: After finished downgrade the console, you can update PS3YES-Pro back to Jailbreak mode; it would be recognized as a DFU device on PC.

Console users many may know that there are have the PS3 jailbreak, and many of them know there is some kind called PS3 YES. Compared with the PS3 jailbreak and other PS3 products, the PS3 YES has some difference.
First the PS3 YES can ne flashed with other hex but it will lose its upgrade function, this may be a pity for the users. How to upgrade How to update PS3YES-Programm’s firmware?
Step 1. Connect PS3YES-Pro to your PC’s USB port
Step 2. About 6 seconds later, PS3YES-Pro’s 8MB USB storage will be installing on you PC.
Step 3. Right-click on the USB disk’s root path, and create a new text file and renamed it to ‘enter DUF.
Step 4. Eject the USB disk to PS3YES-Pro, remove it from PC and re-plug it to your PC’s USB port.
(The following steps also used on PS3YES! and PS3YES-Pro too)
Step 5. About 30 seconds later, the LED on PS3YES-Pro will switch off; you should install the ATMEL DFU driver to run the FLIP tool. You can jump to Step 8 if it was installed already.
Step 6. Install drivers to “AT90USB162″ device, you should download and install FLIP tool from ATMEL.
Step 7. You can found drivers to “AT90USB162” in the path of FLIP were installed, for example: “C:\Program Files\Atmel\Flip 3.4.2\usb”.
Step 8. Download the correct firmware’s hex file. Make sure it was storage in a full English path and without space. For example “c:\”.
Step 9. Run the FLIP tool. Make sure at the first use the “Load Hex File…” menu under “File” menu to load the new firmware hex file.
Step 10. Click the USB icon on FLIP and select “USB”, or press CTRL-U, and click “open” button in the following dialogs.
Step 11. Click “Run” button start update PS3YES-Pro’s firmware.

The difference between the DualShock 2 and the DualShock 3

Next you should backup the data on your current PS3 hard drive and begin an external storage once you have finished the upgrading process; The PS3 has a built-in software backup utility that can copy the PS3′s hard drive contents to an external storage device, such as a USB thumb drive or a Memory Stick. The removable storage device must use the FAT32 file system in order for the PS3 to recognize it. If you have an external hard drive that’s formatted in NTFS, you can use the Disk Management utility in Windows to reformat the drive, but you’ll need to create partitions on large external hard drives because Windows can do only FAT32 on drives 32GB or smaller.
